Alan Lighty trained as a musician and composer. He currently focuses on his own writing and performing music from the acoustic-blues tradition. His primary instrument is the guitar. Joe Garland has more recently begun writing original songs, a product of his growing up with a steady diet of rock and folk and the early singer-songwriters. He plays the guitar and the electric bass.
