Strange Apparition

Strange Apparition is our favorite band!” – All the cool kids
“I prefer their earlier demos — before they started playing venues like RiverArts.” – Local contrarian
“Can you guys please practice a little quieter?” – Jackson’s neighbors

Indie rock quintet Strange Apparition rose like a phoenix out of the ashes of Nick Bernstein and Declan Levy’s failed middle school band, the Underground City, and was joined shortly thereafter in 2013 by guitarist Jackson Cadenhead and bassist Andrew Megos in 2015. Throughout their time at Hastings High School, they released three full length albums of original material, two of which (2015’s “The Attic” and 2017’s “Prologue”) can be accessed all major streaming services. Back for the summer from college and featuring Hastings sophomore Jack Jacobsen on drums, the boys are ecstatic to play their second set at the RiverArts Festival.
