Tom from Nyack

In 1964, Tom paid his college roommate $25 for a Sears Silvertone guitar, learned some chords and wrote some songs. One of those songs, “Cadillac Car”, is still part of his set list.

More recently, he has become more serious about songwriting and performing. He has worked with music industry pros including Arlon Bennett, Dan Bern, Cliff Eberhardt, Vance Gilbert and more.

He has opened for The Levins, appeared at The Heart of the Matter songwriters series and Kindred Folk, both in Peekskill, performed several times at the venerable Turning Point Cafe in Piermont, has been a featured performed at the Lyndhurst Craft Fair and the Acoustic Live venue at Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. This will be his third appearance as a part of the River Arts Music Tour.
